I missed the live streaming, but I wanted to get some help from some of you. What is the difference between Mitigation and Contingent? I understand Mitigation to be a planned response to a risk, usually reducing a risk. So I'm just confused on how a contingent response would be different? Isn't a contingent response also a response to a risk as well??

Getting PMP certified is the beginning. Not the end. I put in 70 hours at least preparing.

Andrew, they are pulling that crap all over the place. But what I can say, working from home saves one at least $20,000 annually in commuting time, fuel, meals, time spent with family, And overall quality of life.

It is not so much knowing Agile. Many of the questions have great answers, it's the mindset that will help you pass the test. It would help if you thought of an Agile mindset when you read the questions because the answers available are those one would select in a predictive scenario as well.

I see a lot of recent college grads getting the PMP with no actual work experience. How is that possible?

I did it. And it is a test I never want to take twice. But the exam separates the professionals from the Scrum-knots - those getting by for 'now', on that little 50-question SCRUM cert. Andrew did it for me!

The second hardest thing is the PMP mindset and wrapping your head around it but Andrew helps break this down well in his classes.

Hello all - getting ready after a 30 year successful PM career to take my PMP while I have some down time between contracts. If I take the PMP at home, can I look at my big 24" screen on my desk while the camera is on my laptop, making me not looking at the camera? Or am I stuck looking at the laptop screen? As a remote worker I feel I work way more hours and harder than I ever did while working in the office. Therefore, I feel the pay should be the same if the job and job description is the same regardless of location.

Equal pay, but (and I have no idea if this exists in the US) but the guy who comes in person every day COULD ask for his gas expenses to be covered by the company (in France it's not the rule but there are a lot of places where you can ask for it)

Same pay for the same job. Location doesn't matter.

We pay for performance. If someone performs at home, why not let them stay at home? Pay should be based on the value they provide, not where they provide it from. Same pay.

Equal pay

The person complaining should change their job if they aren't happy. What if the online employee success rate is greater for the company but in the end if you feel you deserve more change your Circumstance.

Whoever asked this is insecure about their value as an employee. If i want a raise I ask for it on my own merits, not comparing myself against someone else with what is basically a different job description.
